Restricted Instrument Rating

This course gives you the knowledge required to be a safe and competent pilot in adverse weather conditions.

Restricted Instrument Rating

Great pilots are always learning, and the safest have all taken their Restricted Instrument Rating. This course gives you the training required to deal with adverse weather during flight or when coming in to land.

Once you have completed this training you will be competent and confident in flight in IMC outside of controlled airspace, and IFR in Class D or E airspace with permission. This allows you to continue flying when most pilots are grounded
